Russian Prison Tattoos

If you’ve watched the movie ‘Eastern Promises’ then you must have become intrigued by Russian prison and mafia tattoos. Unlike the majority of tattoos seen in Western culture, these tattoos tell specific stories, documenting a person’s life and achievements, particularly those of relevance to their life of crime.

Remember the Summer?

It’s the middle of January and in the part of the world we live in, that means snow and cold! It sucks. Murder Lily’s Jessica Nova

We think that babes who get their throats tattooed are so hardcore and insanely HOT. You can hardly tell in this photo, but Jessican Nova has a black heart tattooed on her throat, and it’s quite sizable. It makes her so hardcore in our eyes, and it kind of makes our pants tight.

Delicious Tattooed Drew Barrymore

We found this hot photo of Drew Barrymore and knew we’d have to share! You can just see the blackwork of two angels that she has tattooed on her back, one of them with her mother’s name. If you read up on the internet, you’ll discover that Drew has quite a few more tattoos, including a very cute butterfly on her stomach. It shows just above her pants sometimes and if you snoop around, you might find some pics!

South African Prison Tattoos

We found this super interesting slideshow on the BBC through a post on Needled.com. This slideshow features the photographs of Araminta de Clermont that capture South African prisoners, men who served time in prisons, and were tattooed while there.

There is audio featuring comments from the photographer and some of the people who posed for the photographs.
