World Record Tattoo Practice Run

Tattoo Ink That Changes Color?

Apparently a company is working on a tattoo ink that would change color according to the person’s blood glucose levels. This would be pretty amazing if it worked because diabetics could easily monitor what’s going on without jabbing themselves with needles all the time.
Unfortunately, it sounds like there is currently a possible 20 minute lag time in the color change, but the ink is still useful for monitoring whether a glucose high or low is changing.
According to Discovery.com:
“Initial tests of the sodium-detecting ink in mice have had “spectacular” results, according to Clark. Testing the glucose monitoring nanotech ink in mice could begin by the end of this month.
Consumers will have to wait. Clark estimates that it will be at least two years before the necessary human testing is complete to bring the ink to the market.”

Drunken Blood Tattoos

I’m sure you’ve seen this story, but in case you haven’t… this poor sod had a wild drunken night with a hot brunette babe, passed out… and woke to find she had CARVED her NAME into his flesh!
Now I’m not sure about you, but we think most people would wake up to such activity, especially considering she managed to carve her name on his arm, a star on his back, and multiple slashes into his other arm and shoulder. That man was hella DRUNK!
But wow what a crazy broad she must have been, wonder what she was like in the sack! *wink*

Ancient History of Tattoos

The above is a photo of a mummy’s hand, taken by Joann Fletcher, that proves people were tattooing their bodies thousands of years ago. According to Smithsonian.com, there is evidence that people were tattooing themselves as far back as 2000 B.C.
